Il saggio prende le mosse dalla concezione dell'arte espressa da Arthur Schopenhauer nel "Mondo come volontà e rappresentazione" (1818; IIa ed. 1844), soffermandosi in maniera particolare sul Capitolo 52 e sull'idea di un'interpretazione metafisica della musica. Tale ipotesi viene messa in rapporto con l'esperienza compositiva di Richard Wagner a partire dalla concezione del "Ring des Nibelungen" e con particolare riferimento al linguaggio armonico di "Tristan und isolde". In nota viene riportato il frammento di una lettera di Richard Wagner ad Arthur Schopenhauer, databile intorno al 1857.

Using Francesco Zambon's recent Metamorfosi del Graal as his starting point, the author undertakes an analysis on the importance of the Graal in Western mystical, philosophical and literary traditions throughout time, from the impact of the medieval Graal stories on the matière de Bretagne and beyond (Troyes, Boron), to the appeal of this myth in modern times, including its occurrence on Richard Wagner, Martin Heidegger, Simone Weil, Italo Calvino and Umberto Eco.

Pētījuma mērķis ir noteikt vai šis tēls satur visus neoromantisma tēlam raksturīgus elementus un atbilst neoromantisma tēla aprakstam. Tika analizēti sekojoši Artura Konana Doila darbi, “Edīte purpura toņos” (1887), “Četru zīme” (1890), “Šerloka Holmsa piedzīvojumi” (1892), “Bāskervilu suns” (1902), kā arī viena ekranizācija ‘Šerloks” (2010). Pielietotā pētījuma metode ir salīdzinošā analīze, teksta analīze un teksta interpretācija. This brief article suggests a reading of the nietzschean concept of Will to Power. First, starting from Heidegger and Deleuze¿s interpretations, an analysis on the differences between Schopenhauer¿s concept of Will and Nietzsche¿s Will to Power is developed, followed by a contrast between Nietzsche¿s Will to Power and Darwin¿s assumptions on the Theory of Evolution. Finally, Will to Power as a key concept in Nietzsche¿s ontology and epistemology is highlighted.
